We want to thank the parents who have sent in the items that were on the wish list! Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
Remember, if you can volunteer, please let us know- your help in putting things together would be fantastic!

Classroom rules/procedures

SPIRIT SHIRTS

Spirit shirts can be worn with jeans (if purchased) on every Friday starting September 2nd.

Supplies

Please note that we've began collecting supplies. We are asking that all the supplies be brought in by Thursday. If you have purchased a kit from the school- you do not need to worry about the missing items. It was clearified that the school will provide the items that were missing in the kits.

We are already sorting materials. The students marked of the items they brought. Please note the specific supplies that are needed by each student, if your child has not already brought it, please send that in.

* Pencil Box                                      * 2 pocket brad folders- five stars (not the paper kind, please!)
* highlighters                                  * Lysol Wipes (we'll go through a ton of those)
* Ruler for math                             * Glue (liquid glue, if possible)
* Composition book                      * five spiral bound notebooks

* 1in binder (white, hard cover, clear view)

* If your child did the summer reading project please submit by Friday of this week!

Some students have the paper folders, please note that the plastic folders will last longer and it may be best to make an investment in the plastic folders. Remember, we are asking to have all supplies in by Thursday!

Thank you for your help and support!

Bee Binder

Please note that the Bee Binder is optional; however, a great organizational item. This will help in building the responsiblity in your child as well as keep you up to date on a daily basis. The supplies needed for the BEE binder are listed in the syllabus. We are asking that the binder be 1 in. the 2in. binders are too big and may become difficult to manage for the children. Also, the binders should be clear view with front and back pockets so we can add a cover to it.

Thank you in advance for your help and support in this!

Although the BEE binder is optional, we are asking that you send in those supplies by Thursday so that we can put the binders together! This would also allow us to see for whom we need to have alternate "communication folders" for. In the meantime, students are using their red plastic, 2 pocket, braded folders. Please return those daily.

Conduct Calendar

Enclosed is the behavior/expectations and classroom management system letter. Please sign and return by Thursday. Students will recieve a completion grade. This week will be a practice week. Students will begin earning conduct marks next week.
